Telecommunications is one of the fastest growing fields in business today. Paced by ever-changing technology, those involved in this dynamic industry know the value of belonging to an organization that provides meaningful contacts and information, helping you to become a more effective telecommunications professional. The Aastra User's Group (AUG) is just such an organization.

Founded in 1981, the Aastra Users Group is a nonprofit, incorporated group, made up of corporations,  hospitals and universities that own and operate Aastra products. AUG members have diverse telecommunications and data backgrounds and expertise (operations, technical support, planning, voice and data experience). AUG is governed by a board of directors comprised of members elected by the association. The AUG Board of Directors' charter is to encourage participation by members and develop the annual conference.  

What Membership Offers 

AUG Online (You are here).
AUG Online is the online community for Aastra Users Group members. AUG Online is a single location where members can connect to all AUG online resources. This is the only online community dedicated to North American Aastra customers.  Follow AUG Online on twitter and receive tweets when content is added or updated. Membership to AUG Online, Forum and listserve is restricted to AUG member companies in good standing and their employees.

User Group Forum
Members of AUG have exclusive access the AUG Online Forum. There are Forum topics that are bound to interest you. The Forum allows members to ask questions via posts, as well as get feedback from other members on general technology as well as Aastra-specific topics. Aastra USA employees such as Product, Service, and Account Managers also participate in the forum and post Product Notes, Technical Bulletins and moderate some of the topics. Find the Forum(s) for your products and subscribe to them to receive automatic updates when new information is posted. 

AUG Listserve
Members of AUG have exclusive access the AUG listserve which allows members to interact via email to fellow listserve members. Listserve membership is restricted to members only. There are no vendors or distributors and you can post emails privately to fellow AUG members. All messages are saved in a search-able archive. You must be a registered member to send e-mails to the listserve. Contact the Board of Directors for registration pass-phrase.

Annual User Group Conference
Typically held in the spring, the conference focuses on learning about new Aastra products and upgrades as well as networking with other Aastra users. Aastra senior management, product managers and support personnel attend the conferences to readily discuss your ideas and views about Aastra products.

Network With Other Aastra Customers

AUG provides many opportunities to communicate with other members to exchange ideas and information. AUG also provides tools such as a membership directory and site profiles to help in that process.
